Pharmacometrics in Drug Development
Pharmacometrics is the science of quantifying and characterizing disease, drug effects and variability or uncertainty around those parameters. It is a critical tool in model-based and model-driven drug development allowing scientists to make more precise predictions about drug behaviours, its effects and to understand likelihood of technical success in the development process. The presentation deals with the applications of pharmacometrics in informing some of these decisions for drug developers.
