The Pharmacological Society (Singapore) [PSS] is a non-profit membership organization that promotes pharmacology research and education in Singapore. It was registered in December 2014. PSS is a full member of the International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (IUPHAR). The PSS Neuropsychopharmacology Section is a member of the Asian College of Neuropsychopharmacology (AsCNP).
The objectives of the PSS are:
- to promote knowledge of and interest in pharmacology through pharmacological research and education;
- to promote, and provide a forum for, scientific interaction among those with an interest in pharmacology;
- to promote the dissemination of pharmacological research knowledge, in particular among scientists, clinicians, industry and students of pharmacology, medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, science and other allied health fields.
Membership is open to all persons in Singapore who are interested in pharmacology research and education.
