Annual Letter from the President of the PSS 2021

Dear PSS Members,

Wishing all our PSS members safe and healthy in the midst of the global pandemic! We look forward to a pre-pandemic “normalcy” and your participation in many upcoming PSS events after the successful completion of vaccination program in Singapore hopefully in the second half of 2021.

PSS planned activities in Year 2021:

  1. GAPP Meeting 2021 (via Zoom) will be held on 31 March 2021 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
  2. PSS Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on 31 March 2021 (Wednesday) after the GAPP Meeting from 11:15 am to 11:45 am (via ZOOM).
  3. PSS supports the organization of the 14th Meeting of the Asia Pacific Federation of Pharmacologists (APFP2021) to be tentatively held in July 11-14, 2021, in Taipei, Taiwan. [Pending update on any postponement of the Meeting]
  4. PSS Student Travel Scholarship 2021 will be announced as soon as conference traveling resumes.
  5. PSS is supports the organization of a Summer School for the Asian Pacific Neurochemistry Society (ASPN) to be held in December 8-12, 2021 as a virtual School hosted from Singapore. [Pending update on any postponement of the Meeting]
  6. PSS supports the organization of the Conference for the Asian College of Neuropsychopharmacology (AsCNP) to be held in October 22-23, 2021 as a virtual Congress hosted from Singapore. (https://ascnp2021.pharmconf.org/).
  7. PSS supports the International Conference on Drug Discovery and Translational Medicine 2021 (ICDDTM”21) to be held on 8-9 December 2021 via Zoom (https://icddtm21.macr-cancer.org)
  8. PSS supports the organization of the 19th World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (WCP2023) to be held on 2-7 July 2023 in Glasgow, Scotland, UK.

**For Your IMMEDIATE ACTION:

  1. PSS-AGM March 31, 2021 (Wednesday) between 11:15-11:45 am via Zoom. Please come and join us in the Annual General Meeting.
  2. PSS Membership 2021 Renewal – please complete the Membership Form to renew membership.
